Hi everybody,
Just been reading the archives before I posted and didnt see on any FAQ
lists whether this problem has been put to rest yet.
I used to have no problem running NCU by dual-booting my old iMac into
OS 9 but this new one came with panther installed and I cant dual boot
to get NCU to connect to my Newt.
I have NCU running in Classic but when I try and start AppleTalk
through the chooser in classic it just says
"To turn on AppleTalk, open Network preferences and click Appletalk".
(BTW I have it turned on in 10.3 through Network in Sys Prefs and
Directory Access)
- Only thing is I DONT HAVE a Network Preferences or even an AppleTalk
control panel for that matter in the OS9 (Classic setup).
I 've been following the instructions for running NCU in Classic mode
at the WikiWikiNewt page
(http://tools.unna.org/wikiwikinewt/index.php/NcuOsx) but I just cant
get AppleTalk to run in Classic.
Any simple solutions that dont require a reinstall or repartition?
Thanks a mill.
Ronan
