You say that you dnont have OS X (since you have a powermac 9600)

So IMHO, your opinions lack the arguments :-)

You have to live and work with both OS;s to understand it.

As for WinXP... theyh behave ok with certain hardware.. and they do not
behave at all with other certain hardware

P.S. ANd in the end, I do not care if it is the hardware;s fault, the
point is that the combination of OS/hardware in Wintels is quite
unpredictable.
