don't get me started! ;=} Short on time now, but I have a couple ideas,
and I've tried for quite a while to drag some developers into this
field. Basically, I think the whole Newton thing could get a nice boost
if musicians could get more out of the Newton -- which naturally isn't
easy with MP 2k, as there are no line-in and -out preinstalled. There
are people who will add these for you, though, and I understand there
may be other options just around the corner... ;=}
Let's discuss this bc when our other project is completed, okay?
I read your old postings about a midi interface on MARK.
I am agitated ^_^
I think something useful around midi will come out for sure from my
workbench,
but i would want to make something that will let you put your iPod back
in the pocket.

The first (funny) apps i installed on my MP2100 was the scratchpad and
the drummachine,
but they last a couple of days only.....
MidiX i think is already a good solution for managing midi, although so
my work is stopped
I could work on two ways:
1. Build a Newton to midi interface for D/L and record midi data via
MidiX. Then (as anybody did for years on theirs PCs) export the songs
via audio output to a desktop midi pro-editor.
2. Build a complete midi input/output interface for the MessagePad.
Once put one in each known Newton developer mail-box, just await the
porting of Cubase1.0 ...........
Once targeted, the point n.1 will let you use your Newton for making,
carrying and previewing your midi on the road.
Once targeted, the point n.2 will let you make audio editing on the
road.
Please continue to share your ideas.
Thanks,
Adriano
