you'll find some other Newtonians living in NZ. If you can find one of
them you may be able to arrange to borrow an dongle or cable, or get a
card with drivers pre-loaded. Otherwise JKSales has the PC cord with
integrated dongle for a decent price ($13US), though can't say what the
shipping will hit you for.

There are numerous ways to get around this problem. All depends on what
hardware you've got kicking around. Anything with an IR port? Do you
have a modem card? Are you handy with a soldering gun?
